Noah 4.14 upgrade

  • Kopieer de bestanden serversettings.xml en clientsettings.xml vanuit C:/programdata/himsa/noah4. Sleep ze niet uit deze map naar het bureaublad, maar selecteer ze, klik met de rechtermuisknop en kies kopieer.
  • Plak de gekopieerde bestanden op het bureaublad van de klant als backup.
  • Zet de Noah 4.14 agent setup over naar de computer van de klant. Deze staat op 192.168.1.250/software/Acousoft/Acousoft.Agent.
  • Scroll helemaal naar beneden voor de 4.14 setup.
  • Voer de 4.14 setup uit en volg de aangegeven stappen.
  • Als de agent klaar is, ga naar Audicienassist.nl.
  • Klik op de knop noah. Er verschijnt een vraag: "Er is nog geen Noah geïnstalleerd. Wil je deze installeren?".
  • Kies hier voor de optie Ja.
  • Als de installatie dan niet vanzelf begint, klik nog een keer op de noah knop en selecteer ja.
  • Als de installatie klaar is, open Taakbeheer.
  • Ga naar details en sluit hier de 1 of 2 openstaande agents.
  • Start Noah op.
  • Controleer of de modulebalk gevuld is.
  • Als de modulebalk niet gevuld is, zet de gekopieerde xml bestanden even in de juiste map terug waar ze vandaan kwamen (C:/programdata/himsa/noah4).

    Noah 4.14 Agent Installation & Configuration Guide

    Follow these steps to install and configure Noah 4.14 correctly:

    Step 1: Backup Configuration Files

    1. Navigate to:
      C:/ProgramData/HIMSA/Noah4
    2. Locate the files:
      • serversettings.xml
      • clientsettings.xml
    3. Do not drag them to the desktop. Instead:
      • Right-click → Copy
      • Paste them onto the desktop as a backup.

    Step 2: Transfer and Install Noah 4.14 Agent

    1. Access the network location:
      \192.168.1.250\software\Acousoft\Acousoft.Agent
    2. Scroll down to find the 4.14 setup file.
    3. Copy the setup file to the customer's computer.
    4. Run the Noah 4.14 setup and follow the installation steps.

    Step 3: Link Noah with AudicienAssist

    1. Open AudicienAssist.nl.
    2. Click the Noah button.
    3. If prompted with:
      "No Noah installation detected. Would you like to install it?"
      • Select Yes.
    4. If the installation does not start automatically,
      • Click the Noah button again and select Yes.

    Step 4: Restart Noah Agent

    1. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc).
    2. Navigate to the Details tab.
    3. Locate and close any Noah Agent processes.
    4. Restart Noah.

    Step 5: Verify Module Bar & Restore Settings

    • If the module bar is empty, restore the backup files:
      1. Copy the previously backed-up serversettings.xml and clientsettings.xml.
      2. Paste them back into:
        C:/ProgramData/HIMSA/Noah4

    ✅ Final Check: Ensure Noah starts correctly and the module bar is filled.

    If any issues persist, restart the computer and try again
