Bridge Error - Client with External ID AU-xxxxxx Cannot Be Loaded

Issue:

You may encounter the following error message while using Bridge in Manage.

"Client with external ID AU-xxxxxx cannot be loaded. Application will be closed."

This error usually occurs when the phone number field contains non-numeric characters.




Cause:

This issue typically happens if the phone number field in the Patient file includes any letters, spaces, or special characters. The system expects only numeric values in the phone number field, and when this format is not followed, the error message appears.


Solution:

To resolve the error, follow these steps:

  1. Review the Phone Number Field:
    • Ensure that the phone number contains only numbers (e.g., 0412345678).
    • Remove any spaces, hyphens, parentheses, or letters.
  2. Correct the Format:
    • If there are any non-numeric characters (such as letters or symbols), delete them and leave only the numeric digits.
  3. Save and Reload:
    • After making the necessary corrections, save the changes and attempt to reload Bridge2.
