⚙️ Before you begin
- Make sure the Fitting Unit is connected to the PC and Measure is open.
- Check your current firmware version - go to Tools → About or Tools → Update Firmware to see the version number.
Step 1: Verify the firmware version
Is the Fitting Unit firmware version 4.1.1.0 0330 or higher?
- ✅ Yes → Proceed to Step 2.
- ❌ No → Update the firmware:
- Start Measure with the Fitting Unit connected to the PC.
- Go to Tools → Update Firmware.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to update to the latest firmware version.
→ Check if the issue is resolved. If yes - you're done ✓. If no - continue to Step 2.
Step 2: Update Measure to version 6.5.0 or higher
Is Measure version 6.5.0 or higher installed?
- ✅ Yes → Proceed to Step 3.
- ❌ No → Take these steps:
- Download the latest Measure version (6.5.0 or higher) from the official Auditdata source.
- Install the software and follow the on-screen prompts - the installer will also update the audiometer firmware automatically.
- Restart Measure after installation.
→ Check if the issue is resolved. If yes - you're done ✓. If no - continue to Step 3.
Step 3: Reconnect the transducer
Does reconnecting the transducer clear the error?
- ✅ Yes → You're done ✓.
- ❌ No → Restart Measure, then reconnect the transducer and check again.
→ Check if the issue is resolved. If yes - you're done ✓. If no - continue to Step 4.
Step 4: Check all cable connections and transducer compatibility
Are all cables securely connected and the transducer compatible with the current Measure version?
- ✅ Yes → Proceed to the escalation path below.
- ❌ No → Take these steps:
- Make sure all cables are firmly connected at both ends.
- Try a different USB port on the PC.
- Verify that the transducer is listed as compatible with your current Measure software version - refer to the official compatibility list or contact Auditdata Support.
→ Check if the issue is resolved. If yes - you're done ✓. If no - proceed to the escalation path below.
