Step 1: Check the power supply
Is the Measure power supply plugged in and functioning correctly?
- ✅ Yes → Proceed to Step 2.
- ❌ No → Take these steps:
- Plug in the Measure power supply securely.
- Check that the power LED turns on and Measure is receiving power.
- Try a different power outlet if the LED does not turn on.
→ Check if the issue is resolved. If yes - you're done ✓. If no - continue to Step 2.
Step 2: Check high-frequency playback and calibration
Can the transducer or loudspeaker play high-frequency sounds at all?
- ✅ Yes → The hardware can reach high output at some frequencies - the limitation may be frequency-specific. Proceed to the escalation path below to investigate further.
- ❌ No → This may be a hardware limitation or a calibration issue:
- Check whether the transducer or loudspeaker is specified to support the frequency range you are testing. Refer to the transducer's datasheet or the Measure compatibility list.
- If the hardware should support the range, contact your calibration provider - the transducer or loudspeaker may need recalibration.
→ Check if the issue is resolved. If yes - you're done ✓. If no - proceed to the escalation path below.
